My concert was actually a shared hour that started at 1:00. The other person had already set up and begun, so the fact that I didn't show up with my harp until 1:15 wasn't a problem. At 1:30, the other person ended his guitar-and-filk concert. The audience numbered around 18 and several people got up to leave.
"Don't everyone go," I pleaded. "I play the harp!"
"Wow!" said the previous performer. "I'm sticking around."
Only two people left. The rest sat back down. The power of the instrument!
I set up quickly and started off with "The Story of Steven's First Harp Lesson," which involves three short songs. Then I played and sang "The Spinning Song," which shows that teenagers have been sneaking out at night for centuries. I also told "Mother Berchta" again and finished with my version of "Cinderella." The audience, I should add, grew as my half hour went on until there were about thirty people in it. So that was cool.
Afterward, I checked out and began the long drive home. It went without incident until I got to the border crossing at Port Huron. I was apparently chosen at random for a more thorough check. (I have to say that the border guards these days are lot sterner, and sound like they're on the edge of pulling out a weapon and shooting someone.) I was ordered to drive my car over to a little side area and park behind a pickup truck with a canoe on its roof. Another car was waved in behind me. A guard told me to get out of my car and stand by the customs vehicle. Beside the line of cars was a big truck that resembled a telephone repair truck. A big beam stuck upward from the back of the truck, reached over the cars, and down the other side. A piece of equipment hung from end of the beam just above the ground. The truck backed up, sending this giant scanner over our three cars. It was a giant portable x-ray machine.
One of the cars apparently made the border guards edgy because they popped the trunk and rummaged through it after the scan was finished. But no arrests were made and we were finally allowed to go.
I arrived home at about seven-thirty. My son was very happy that Daddy was home and he stuck close all evening. It was very cute.
Thus ends another Worldcon!

Amazing! This blog looks just like my old one! It's on a completely different topic but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Wonderful choice of colors! キャノン 一眼レフ キャノン 一眼レフ

Hello! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog. Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I'm thinking about setting up my own but I'm not sure where to start. Do you have any points or suggestions? Cheers デジカメ http://www.netcomposites.com/img/camera06.html デジカメ

Hi! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I'm getting sick and tired of Wordpress because I've had problems with hackers and I'm looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform. デジカメ 価格 http://uit.edu/mwaseem/kamera02.html デジカメ 価格

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the structure of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better? デジカメ おすすめ http://www.workingfamilies.org.uk/blog/wp-content/kamera01.html デジカメ おすすめ
