Marsdust has changed their main page. No more bimbos! Though I still think they should add a little blurb at the very beginning to indicate exactly what the site is about. It's still hard to tell the way it is now.

Hey Steven,
Nice to see you still looking us up. Rest assured, there will still be "bimbos" in MarsDust's future (if by that you mean female fans and interview subjects attractive to many of us). But yes, we have focused the photoshoot section more in the direction of portraying fans in their glory. As for the "focus" of the magazine, I disagree. We are a fandom webzine pure and simple. The variety magazine is a long standing tradition and our development into one has had absolutely no impact on the growth of our readership. We have no urge to become "Shark Diver Monthly" or "Vacationing Physician." Rather than choosing a subject matter and then finding the audience, we chose the audience and are learning our subject matter from them. Perhaps not a great strategy if you are writing a novel, but one that reflects the service oriented stance of journalism.
Jason
PS - the Penguicon panels with you and Sara were fantastically fun and thought provoking.

A true colleague is certainly one who exactly overlooks your new deficiencies or can handle your ultimate positive results. Bottes Bottes
