You know, I just checked out the SFWA Nebula page. They have a list of relevant blogs and photos of the event, and it occurred to me...No one reads this thing!!!! Not that I expect SFWA to track ME down and link to my entry in this blog. However, we do have at least four (or more?) SFWA members in this group.

Although I'm a member, I haven't gotten on sff.net officially yet. The process is moving at its native geologic pace. But could another UWG/SFWA member, perhaps Sarah or Steven, look into getting us linked into the SFWA net ring? I think it would be very appropriate. We've been doing well updating the blog lately, but we're not read by other sf people. They don't seem aware of us in general. Here's the link:

I'd do it myself, but you have to be on sff.net already and I'm still waiting.

I keep telling peolpe this!'5 seems to be the magical number when peolpe give up'. If I gave up after 5, then I'd have sold exactly nothing (until recently, when I admit I've sold a couple of things on the first submission, but that has more to do with careful targeting of the market than with any improvement in writing).Getting published seems more about finding the right' market for a piece, than it does about writing that perfect short story that everyone bows down before.Colum

Wow that was odd. I just wrote an extremely long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn't show up. Grrrr... well I'm not writing all that over again. Regardless, just wanted to say fantastic blog! スリッパ http://www.sandaruja.com/
